CPHY212 Computational Mechanics and Symbolic Programming
In this course you are introduced to general computational techniques which you will use to model the behaviour of mechanical systems. The course is split into two parts:
Computational Mechanics
In this section you look at various interesting mechanics problems for which analytical solutions either do not exist or are rather difficult to solve. Typically this will involve working out the equations of motion for a problem then solving the resulting ordinary differential equations numerically in FORTRAN.
